The split collet is pushed into the centre of the bearing and then expanded
via the hex nut on the end of the collet until a secure grip is achieved.
The slide hammer is then attached providing the necessary extracting force.

Additional part 09582000 convertor from M8 to 1/2" UNF must be attached for use with slide hammer when using parts 09580900 / 09581000 / 09581100.
