TYGRIS Chemical absorbent sock is used for quickly deploying in the event of water and oil based spills, as well as for fluid of an aggressive nature such as acids and alkalis, quickly blocking off and diverting leaking liquids. Useful for placing around leaking machinery, preventing spills spreading and becoming a safety hazard.

Benefits: Easy and fast to deploy; Good for initial response with large volumes of liquid; Use around leaking machinery; Useful in laboratories; Moulds to contours and uneven surfaces; Absorbs chemical, oil and water based spills;

Consult the safety data sheet prior to use - suitable Personal Protection Equipment should be worn. Place socks ahead of advancing spill and soak fluid behind the sock with sheets or pillows. Leave until saturated and dispose of in line with local and national regulations.
